Mike Nash: A Dialogue
Chicago is a city full of change especially with the past summer months. We spoke with Michael Nash, an actor an model trying to come up in industry. We had a dialogue in regards to his life (full disclaimer: we went him a shirt)
What is your name, age, and where are you from?
My name is Michael Amir Nash aka Amir, I am 15 years old and I am from Chicago Illinois.
How did you make your debut in acting? How did you make your debut in modeling?
I made my debut in acting by doing short skits and filming with fellow actors. I made my debut in model when my manager Andre Jackson introduced me to Chicago's finest photographer Marcus Robinson.
What is it like living in Chicago? What's the film scene like in Chicago? What's the fashion scene like?
Life in Chicago can be pretty rough sometimes because the violence can get out of hand a lot of times people don't have a lot of patience and are on edge sometimes so you have to watch you're back to make sure nothings wrong. Also we have a lot of tourist attraction like landmarks they people can see its equal opportunity for people to make a living and you have a lot of places to go and have fun. The film scene is fun everyone likes to work hard and have fun they want the best for everyone they. They can make the worse days be some great ones. The fashion here is different everyone dress their own way and it's cool to see the differences That people have because they wear something that you like and you might have something in common so its very diverse.
Where did the name Amir come from?
The name Amir came from my actual name I wanted something that stands out but is smooth and doesn’t make it seem like its doing to much, it's subtle.
What kind of music do you like listening to? What artists or bands are you into right now?
I listen to all different type of music I'm not just into rap or pop I listen to r and b country anything that I feel fits my character which is unique. Some artist or band I am into right now is maroon 5 Bruno Mars twenty one pilot the weekend Roddy Rich Bebe Rexha and more.
What are you hoping to get out of 2020, career-wise?
I'm going to progress more in my craft by practicing more get better as the year moves froward and increase my net work.
How does acting and modeling work together? Or are they completely different?
Acting and modeling work together because in acting you need different emotions of you're self and modeling catches you in every aspect of you're life as far as emotions
